You are not officially registered as a vendor until staff confirms and payment is received. Please note that DCCMS has the right to limit the number of vendors for each product to ensure a diverse and sustainable product mix for the market. ***
- Vendor fee is $25 per 10′ x 10′ space per week. Make checks payable to Dixon Chamber of Commerce & Main Street (DCCMS). Food vendors and boutiques are $50 per week.
- Vendor agrees to provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and tent weights and any other setup materials. For the safety of everyone, all vendors must have weights for their tents.
- Only hand designed arts and crafts are to be sold at the market. No commercial or trademarked food or craft products are permitted. No direct sales companies allowed.
- NO REFUNDS will be given for missed or canceled markets due to inclement weather.
- DCCMS reserves the right to terminate application with no refund if vendor does not comply with above terms or if vendor does not adhere to the positive spirit of the market.
- First market of season is May 28 and runs till Aug. 6. (No market July 2 or July 9.)
- Vendor may setup 3-4 p.m., with all vehicles removed from the road by 4:30.
- Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech and Behavior: The event has a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of hate speech, behavior, or symbols. This includes, but is not limited to, derogatory language, intimidation, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other characteristic.
- Political Parties and Organizations involved in Political Activity: These policies are in place to ensure that political campaigning does not overshadow the primary purposes of Dixon City Market, which include promoting local businesses, fostering community spirit, and providing entertainment in a non-partisan, welcoming environment for all attendees. Political Parties and organizations involved in political activity are able to participate in the City Market and provide free, fun, and kid friendly activities within the following guidelines:
- a. No Solicitation allowed: This includes petitioning, collecting donations for political campaigns or engagement, or gathering signatures for political initiatives within the event premises.
- b. Active campaigning, rallying, speech-making, or any other activity that could disrupt the market environment is prohibited.
- c. All signs, literature, etc. must remain within the 10 x 10 tent footprint. Please note that River Street is a one-way street. Enter from Peoria Avenue. Vendors who arrive late may forfeit their spot. The market runs from 5 to 8 p.m.
