Vendors participating in the Scarecrow Festival agree to the following:
- The vendor fee is $25 per 10′ x 10′ space for non-food vendors. Food vendors are $50. Price may vary depending on space required by your business. Not-for-profit organizations can reserve a 10′ x 10′ space free of charge, but will be expected to provide a kids game or activity at their booth.
- You will be notified of your location the Wednesday before the event.
- The vendor must bring their own tent, tables, chairs, or any other setup materials.
- The vendor must be set up by 9:30 a.m. with all vehicles removed from the road. Vendors who are late may forfeit their spot. You may start setting up at 8 a.m.
- Food vendors must have the approval of the Lee County Health Department and are independently responsible for obtaining the necessary permits and hand washing stations.
- Vendors will only sell items approved by Discover Dixon.
- The vendor is responsible for cleaning up all equipment and trash following the event. Cooking oil must be disposed of and NOT dumped onto the sidewalk, road, or flowerbeds. We advise you to put a tarp down under the cooking area; damages may be billed to the vendor.
- Discover Dixon reserves the right to terminate the contract with no refund if the vendor does not comply with the above terms or does not adhere to the positive spirit of the Scarecrow Festival.
- The fee is non-refundable. The event will be held rain or shine.
Vendors applications are no longer being accepted for this year's Scarecrow Festival. Thank you for your interest.
